The future is today...

I just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow is here right now. Twenty years ago having a phone you carried with you, your own computer or a personal navigation system were only for the rich and famous. Today alone I have sat in a car that spoke to us and told us where to go, talked to my wife via a cell phone (somebody's SECOND cell phone I might add), and also drove in a car while me and another guy both had laptops in our lap. The whole situation made me laugh and I thought I would share it with you all. I miss you all and hope to see you soon.

today i helped a guy at work (oh by the way i got a job at jimmy johns gourmet sandwiches haha) and he's on his stupid bluetooth crap on his phone talking and was like "hang on i have to order my food then send an email blah blah blah i'll send it to you" as he whipped out his what i'm assuming was a blackberry or something like it and did some mumbo jumbo on it then decided maybe he wouldnt be a techie asshole any longer and order his damn sandwich. but i thought my experience would fit in with your technology story. miss you brohah. love, Kathryn

For those of us who are a bit older...30 years ago you would have only thought this was possible on Star Trek!
